The Team
Rui Mataloto is the archaeologist and cultural officer for the Municipality of Redondo, Portugal. He holds an MA in Prehistory and Archaeology from the University of Lisbon and has worked as a professional archaeologist in the Alentejo region for three decades. He has published extensively on the archaeology of Alentejo, on a variety of topics, such as Prehistory, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman Republican studies.

Conceição Roque is the archaeologist and cultural officer for the Municipality of Alandroal, Portugal. She holds an MA in Public Archaeology, Art and Museology from the University of Lisbon. Has been working as a professional archaeologist in the Alentejo region for three decades, and has published on the archaeology of Alentejo, on a variety of topics, such as Prehistoric rock art, Neolithic, Iron Age and Roman Republican studies.
She as also done the entire inventory of all the archaeological sites in Alandroal Municipality, in colaboration with Manuel Calado.
